Meditation and Buddhism, Paris.

On the night of the full moon in May, whilst absorbed in meditation, and reaching a state of perfect tranquility, of complete imperturbability of mind, and thus completely overcoming all the causes of human suffering, a man became Buddha. Out of compassion he spent the rest of his life teaching the means, what we now call Buddhism, by which we too, here in Paris, can develop ourselves to reach that state. The Centre Bouddhiste de l’Ile de France offers a regular path of teaching and practice so that you can learn how to practise, here in Paris, meditation and Buddhism.

The Centre Bouddhiste de l’Ile de France doesn’t have any source of financial support outside of the suggested donations for activities, which is a traditional way of supporting Buddhist activites. Those who run and those who teach at the Centre do so completely voluntairly.

The teaching of the Buddha does not have a price, but to cover the running costs of the Centre Bouddhiste we suggest a donation for each event. You are always welcome to give more or less as you wish.
